UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY COURT In the Matter of the Adoption of Local Bankruptcy Rules GENERAL ORDER NO. ____ ORDER REVISING LOCAL BANKRUPTCY RULE 4008-1 In accordance with the September 13, 2001, order of the United States District Court granting this court authority to amend local bankruptcy rules and forms, and in light of recent revisions to AK LBR 5005-2(c), IT IS ORDERED that the procedure adopted in Local Bankruptcy Rule 4008-1(c), for service of a reaffirmation agreement, is suspended. While reaffirmation agreements may be filed electronically, in all instances the original reaffirmation agreement must be submitted to the Clerk, who will retain the document in the permanent records of the court. The party filing the reaffirmation agreement must serve a conformed copy of the agreement upon the other party or party's counsel after it has been filed with the court, whether such filing is done conventionally or electronically .DATED: October 3, 2001.
