McVCIS retrieves real-time information from any CM/ECF database.It offers high reliability and advanced features to increase the service quality and productivity.

McVCIS provides considerable amount of information about both Bankruptcy cases and Adversary proceedings.

The information available includes:

•debtor(s)' name(s)
•case number
•judge name
•tax identification number
•date the case was opened
•voluntary or involuntary case filing
•business or consumer
•date of filing
•chapter
•attorney name and telephone
•date and time of the pending Sec. 341 Meeting
•date of discharge
•date of case closing
•date and the time of the first meeting
•asset status
•general case status

Press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish

You have 3 options to obtain case information.

1. For direct access for the District of Alaska press #66.
2. Enter the two letter abbreviation for any state and listen for the prompts for the specific district you are looking for. (i.e. AK is 25 on your keypad)
3. Press the # key to hear all the states listed. Note: These are not in alpha order - In order by when each district signed up for McVCIS.

You are allowed 5 searches by per call.

Press:

1. For instructions
2. Search by case number
3. Search by debtor name (Last, First, MI).  For the letters “Q” and “Z” press digit 1. (The name entered must be exact as input by court.)
4. Search by SSN or Tax ID

Each of these 4 options give explanations on how to input the specific information.
