COVID-19 Telephonic Hearing Information

 
COURT HEARINGS
 
The Clerk's office is open to the public, however, all court hearings will be conducted telephonically until further notice or otherwise ordered.
 
IMPORTANT - Due to the high demand of conference lines during COVID-19 parties are advised to connect to the conference line 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled hearing time as it might take several attempts to get into the conference line.  Please review all instructions below.
 
All court hearings will be conducted by telephone conferencing.  Each participant must call into the court’s conference line unless otherwise ordered by the court.
 
Directions to connect to all hearings
  1. Dial (888)684-8852 (USA Toll Free)
  2. Enter Access Code – 6825456#
  3. No security code will be required
  4. MUTE YOUR PHONE UNTIL YOUR CASE IS CALLED AND WHEN YOU ARE NOT SPEAKING
  5. If you do not have a mute function, press *6 to mute and *6 to unmute
  6. Do not put your phone on hold if it will result in music or other noise
  7. If available set your phone to “DO NOT DISTURB” so it will not ring during the hearing
  8. Do not use a Speakerphone
 
Telephone Hearing Requirements
  • Be on time for the designated hearing time
  • Each participant must call into the conference line as the court will not call you
  • If you have problems getting into the call keep trying as the lines might be busy
  • Contact the Anchorage Clerk’s Office at (907)271-2655 option #2 if you cannot connect at your scheduled hearing time.
  • Make sure you have a good connection and are away from any background noise
  • Do not announce your presence until the court calls your case as other hearings may be in progress.  Stay on the line, even if there is only silence until the judge starts the hearings, and then continue to listen quietly until your case is called.
