Court Locations

Location:
Old Federal Building, 605 W. 4th Ave., #138, Anchorage (court entrance is located on the west side of the building along G Street and 4th Avenue).
 
ID Requirements:
To enter the courthouse, all visitors must show a current and valid photo ID issued by a State of Federal agency.
 
Courthouse Security Screening:

All visitors are required to walk through a magnetometer and all bags, briefcases, purses, parcels, and electronic devices will be screened by an x-ray machine. If you set off the magnetometer as you walk through it, you may be asked to remove your belt, watch, or jewelry. 

Prohibited items include firearms, explosive materials, drug paraphernalia, knives, narcotics, other items deemed dangerous, illegal, or hazardous.

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM
 
Court Filings:
  • Filings may be made in person at the above location or mailed at the mailing address below.  
  • All filings MUST contain the filer(s) original signature(s).
  • Personal checks will not be accepted from debtors with an open bankruptcy case.  All filing fees from debtors must be paid via cash, money order, or cashiers check.
  • Filing fees paid by other parties may include personal or business checks.
  • DO NOT MAIL CASH OR PUT CASH IN THE DROP BOX (if one is provided by the court).
